Cluttered home screen, cluttered life.
I try to keep the home screen of my phone uncluttered. It makes finding things quickly so much easier.
Naturally, the apps that I find most useful are on the front page. These are apps that are extremely useful to me, and may also be useful to you. There are currently 23 apps on my home screen:
- Phone
- Gmail
- Chrome
- Music – I’m super happy with my YouTube Music subscription
- Camera
- Clock – Where I set all critical alerts and reminders
- Messages
- Tasks – One big todo list that effectively runs my life
- Podcasts
- Docs – For quick access to documents stored on GSuite
- Kindle – Where I do most of my reading
- Wegmans – A great app if you have a Wegmans near you. I use it as my shopping list even outside of Wegmans.
- Google Maps

- Play Books – an alternative to Kindle
