A lot of restaurants SAY that they’re committed to sustainability, but take very little action.
We should open a truly eco-friendly and sustainable restaurant. Such a restaurant would be powered by solar energy, wind power, and/or geothermal energy.
The food would be from sustainable and local sources (there would be pictures on the walls showing the owners visiting local farmers).
The website for the restaurant would be hosted on green hosting servers.
Profits would be donated to environmental organizations.
The restaurant would make extensive use of recycling and recyclable materials.
Of course, there will be lots of plants inside and outside the restaurant.
The goal would be for the restaurant to be completely self-sustaining using only local sustainable resources that do not create pollution.
