I have three kids, ages 11, 9, and 6. Like many parents, I took loads of pictures of them, especially when they were very young. After we had our third child, I thought it would be really cool to compare him with his siblings at the same age. I dug up similar photos of all three kids at age three months and put them side by side:
Pretty neat, huh? Well, it gets more interesting as they get older (because all babies kind of look the same). Here they are at six months:
And at nine months:
And finally at one year old:
I think I also did this at two years old and three years old, but I can’t find the pictures at the moment. But you get the point.
It would be really cool for photo album software to provide functionality to show pictures by the age of the subject.
Imagine if you could open up your photo album software and have it show you pictures of you, your parents, and your grandparents all at age nine. It would show life in a different perspective. It might even improve the relationships we have between people of different ages because we would quickly see that we are all people at different stages in our lives, and even your mother or your grandfather were once your age.
